CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Whitetail Camps offer exciting outdoor fun through adventure activities. Kayaking, biking, fishing and fly fishing, camping and wilderness living provide the tools for campers to grow their confidence and develop their skills. CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Chimaqua has acres of woods, fields and tumbling brooks. The setting includes rustic lodges, cabins, a swimming pool, lake, trails and many other amenities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Chimaqua is an overnight weekend camp for grieving children ages 6-12 offered by the Pathways Center for Grief & Loss. Our focus is on helping your child learn about loss, develop coping skills and build self-confidence. This is achieved through fun-filled activities and opportunities for small- and large-group sharing. In the safe and accepting environment of camp, the children learn ways to understand and express their feelings about their loss. The campers also benefit from spending time with other children who have also experienced a loss. Camp is staffed by professional Pathways Center counselors and trained volunteers, and a registered nurse is on-site for the duration of camp. A specially-trained adult buddy is paired with each child to provide constant companionship, support and supervision throughout the weekend.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Camp Chimaqua is a program of Hospice & Community Care's Pathways Center for Grief & Loss. The Pathways Center for Grief & Loss is a free community resource for children, teens and adults who are coping with the death of someone significant in their lives. Chestnut Lake has been designed to emulate the traditions and excellence of Trail’s End while providing your family with the flexibility of 3-week or 6-week alternatives. In 2008, Chestnut Lake opened its gates as the Northeast’s premier session camp located in the northeast corner of Pennsylvania, just 2 ½ hours from NYC and Philadelphia.

Chestnut Lake offers boys and girls a brand new, state-of-the-art facility along with creative day and evening programming. Chestnut Lake is an all around camp with a strong sports program. CAMP FACILITIES: Our camp is located at Blue Mountain Resort nestled in the Pocono mountains. For residential campers we offer cabins that sleep 8-10 campers, a counselor, and a junior counselor. Bathrooms and showers are located in the adjacent building. All campers will have Blue Mountain facilities at their disposal depending on the activities of your child's choice. Blue Mountain has laser tag accommodations, a ropes course, climbing wall, a zipline course, disc golf course, and an archery range. Campers also have the choice to go horseback riding at Apollo Farms or go on a Jim Thorpe River Adventure!

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Sequoia is very fortunate to call The Perkiomen School campus our summer home. Pennsburg is a suburban area approximately a one hour drive northwest of Philadelphia in Montgomery County. The proximity of many educational and recreational activities to Pennsburg make our weekly out of camp trips very convenient.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Perkiomen School offers a wide array of playing fields and outdoor athletic facilities such as tennis and basketball courts. An indoor, competition size swimming pool, multiple gyms and top notch art facilities are just a few of the indoor highlights. When it's time for bed, campers will enjoy the comfort of their bedrooms which feature closets, dressers and desks. Bad weather is no problem at Camp Sequoia thanks to our amazing facilities. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The LIT program meets the need for young people ages 16-17 who are not yet ready for a summer job and need help developing their social thinking skills, independent skills and job readiness skills. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The camp has been running for 35 years as Holly Shores Field Hockey Academy. The camp has new owners who are extremely excited to bring you the best of both field hockey and sports performance training. We are the only Field Hockey camp to offer top notch sports specific training to create more dynamic and xplosive athletes. Our field hockey portion of the camp is run by Lauren Pfeiffer, US National Team Member and incorporates the most current techniques in the sport.

Each athlete will learn injury prevention techniques and strategies to utilize during the season. CAMP FACILITIES: Our facilities include a 60' by 120' outdoor arena with sand footing, an 80' by 120' indoor arena with peastone and rubber footing, 15 stall barn with two tack rooms, wash rack with heated water, swimming pool, 2.5 acre pond, 20 large pastures used for rotational grazing, cross country jumps scattered throughout the fields and trails, get-away cabin with full bath and kitchen, sleeps 10.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Fairview Farm and Guest Ranch also offers Bits and Bridles Girl's English Riding Camp. This overnight camp features an emphasis on English riding. All ability levels are accepted, and instruction is adapted to each individual rider. Skills taught include: riding on the flat and jumping instruction from intro through intermediate levels, games on horseback and trail riding. In addition to equestrian activities, campers also enjoy activities such as team building, obstacle courses, swimming, fishing and the best food east of the Mississippi.

Equine Adventure Camp Level 1
This week long day camp is a “stand out!” It is theme based, and full of surprises! From “Survivor” to Renaissance” to the “Olympics” to “Down Under Horse Camp”, the campers never know what their counselors have in store for them. Campers enjoy horseback riding lessons, crafts, swimming, games, trail rides and team challenges each day. Instruction is geared to meet the needs of beginner riders. Skills are taught in both disciplines of western and English riding. In addition to fun on horseback, Wednesday night offers an overnight camp out for all campers. The night is packed with special activities which are always a well -kept secret, but always fun and exciting. On Friday, the last day of camp, friends and families are invited to see the campers perform their skills in a horse show.

Equine Adventure Camp Level 2
This day camp offers the same excitement as our Level 1 Camp, however, Level 2 camp is geared to riders of intermediate ability. Campers need to be proficient at all three gaits of walk, trot, and canter, riding with control. Instruction will include both Western and English riding. Pee Wee Horse Camp
This day camp caters to little people! Campers are those who are not quite ready to join the rigors of our Equine Adventure Camps, but our days are packed with excitement and filled with riding, crafts, swimming and fun, fun, fun! We are all about safety, and provide an experienced helper for each of these little campers.

CAMP FACILITIES: Mt. Gilead has 16 buildings available for overnight lodging. Ranging from full sized lodges to small 8 person cabins, options are available for any sized group. Whether it’s a family ski weekend at Camelback Ski Mountain, group retreat or a staff getaway; we keep our rental prices affordable so everyone can afford a visit to the Poconos.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Mt. Gilead offers an atmosphere of relaxed fun and fellowship and the opportunity to experience God right in the middle of his creation without the distractions of technology and everyday life.

Campers are grouped in divisions according to their completed grade. Girls spend time interacting with their cabin group, divisional group, and the entire camp population at different times throughout the week.
Adventurers are completing grades 2 through 4.

Searchers are completing grades 5 and 6.

Observers are completing grades 7 and 8

Conquerors have completed grades 9 through 11.

A week at Mt. Gilead starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday, for campers staying more than 1 week, we offer the option of a stay over program. This program allows campers to stay at camp over the weekend where they will be cared for by our weekend staff. Parents are welcome to visit during this time and can take their camper out of camp for several hours (to eat, do laundry, etc.).

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Young ladies in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade are eligible to enroll in CILT I. During the school year, CILTs are working on requirements, reading books, developing a resource file, and preparing for the busy summer ahead. Once CILTs arrive at camp, they will prepare to embark on a trip that will change their lives forever. CILTs, their instructor, and other qualified personnel will leave for a week long outdoor living experience, typically backpacking and/or canoeing.

CILTs will experience first hand God’s awesome creation and learn important lessons in teamwork and communication. Once the CILTs return to camp their second week of training consists of working with a cabin, leading activities, songfests, service hours, Bible study and CILT class.

CILT II
There is no break! (Who wants one anyway?!) The CILTs are anxious to continue their training and get started on their second year requirements.

CILT II begins as soon as CILT I ends. CILTs are given their second year books to read, their extensive list of requirements, and with their new network of fellow CILTs, instructor and their mentor, they are ready to begin. One of the most unique features of our CILT II program is the use of a mentor. Each CILT chooses a mentor. Someone who will pray with them, guide, encourage, challenge and keep the CILT accountable throughout the year. The mentor and CILT will share thoughts and ideas on Bible Study methods by Rick Warren. Then the summer begins with three weeks of training.

CILT II participants are required to attend our staff training week, otherwise known as Pre-Camp. During this week, CILTs will have the opportunity to see the workings behind camp, as friendships develop, activities are planned, staff is trained and duties are assigned. They will also have the opportunity to earn certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, and AED. The second week of CILT is filled with training in their areas of specialty, Bible study, CILT classes, and camp service hours. Finally, the third week of training arrives when CILTs get to put all their knowledge into practice when they live-in with a cabin for a full week under the supervision of another counselor. Upon successful completion of all the requirements CILTs will have a graduation ceremony and are welcomed onto our staff!

CAMP FACILITIES: Live in air conditioned college dorms, with wifi, dining halls, bathrooms, dorm lounges, and enjoy nightly activities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Yesh utilizes two sets of staff; one dedicated to professional instruction for all the courses and the other devoted to the residential life of the students. Instructors and coaches with professional expertise ensure that the educational aspect of the camp is truly state-of-the-art, so that the residential advisors can devote their time to the students' evening, weekend and Shabbat activities.

Yesh Shabbat features small class sizes and low student-to-faculty ratios.

CAMP FACILITIES: Swope Music Building houses state-of-the-art rehearsal and performance spaces, classrooms, practice rooms, and faculty studios. Students are housed in an on-campus residence hall, adjacent to the dining hall.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The West Chester University High School Summer Music Institute offers resident and commuter options for students currently in grades 9 through 12. Students have the opportunity to perform in a variety of large and small ensembles including wind ensemble, string orchestra, choir, flute ensemble, clarinet ensemble, saxophone ensemble, double reed ensemble, brass ensemble, percussion ensemble, and vocal ensemble. All ensembles perform at the end of the Institute, and all concerts are open to family and friends. Auditions for a solo recital are held at the beginning of the week.

The Institute’s faculty consists primarily of West Chester University professors, all of whom are active performing artists in the Philadelphia region. Each student receives two 30-minute private lessons and one studio masterclass on their primary instrument or voice. Students will also participate in music theory/ear training, college prep, and audition prep classes.

Recreational activities include volleyball, a pizza party, and other organized evening activities.
