CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Galil is set in the beautiful fields and forests of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, about one hour from both Philadelphia, New York City, and most New Jersey addresses.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Galil is a kibbutz atmosphere that focuses on cooperative living. It is a community of young people from all streams of Jewish life.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Being a CIT at YMCA Camp Soles gives you a unique training opportunity that will serve you well should you ever desire to return as a camp counselor, work in day care or after-school programs, or become a coach or mentor for younger kids. Our CIT program is specifically designed for teens who are interested in working with kids. We teach critical counseling skills, behavior management, and instruction techniques.

Being a CIT is about learning practical skills that you will hone at camp. For example, you will work with our staff as assistant instructors in the various program areas across Camp Soles. You will also be assigned a cabin to help with everything from running activities to working with homesick campers. Camp is after all about learning through positive relationships and our counselors are role models for our CITs as much as they are for campers.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: At the Y, no child or family is turned away due to inability to pay. That holds true at YMCA camps as well. Realizing that different families have different abilities to pay, we created a three tier pricing program. Based on an honor system, your family chooses which tier you can afford. Tier placement does not change any aspect of the experience your child will receive. It is a way to ensure that every child can access the same opportunities.

Longacre Leadership Camp is a residential, co-ed summer camp located in Central Pennsylvania for students aged 8 - 18. We are located on a 114 acre farm 40 minutes north of Harrisburg and will be enjoying our 44th summer this year. Position dates are from June 14th - August 15th 2018.

We hire camp counselors, AKA Big Kids aged 21 and over who are passionate about working with young people and who are committed to building a community. We are looking for staff with a range of skills and expertise including, carpentry, horse riding, arts and crafts, animal husbandry, outdoor education and organic gardening. This position is a blend of farm work and youth work.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Lee Mar is a private, sleepaway camp for children and teenagers with mild to moderate learning and developmental challenges. A structured environment, individual attention and guidance are emphasized at all times. Campers enjoy traditional camp activities PLUS academics, speech and language therapy, music and art therapy, daily living skills, and much more. We also have therapeutic horseback riding, a Zip Line and overnight trips, as well as a Junior Olympic heated pool, modern facilities and air-conditioned buildings (including cabins). CAMP FACILITIES: Our camp is located at Blue Mountain Resort nestled in the Pocono mountains. For residential campers we offer cabins that sleep 8-10 campers, a counselor, and a junior counselor. Bathrooms and showers are located in the adjacent building. All campers will have Blue Mountain facilities at their disposal depending on the activities of your child's choice. Blue Mountain has laser tag accommodations, a ropes course, climbing wall, a zipline course, disc golf course, and an archery range. Campers also have the choice to go horseback riding at Apollo Farms or go on a Jim Thorpe River Adventure!

CAMP FACILITIES: Our facilities include a 60' by 120' outdoor arena with sand footing, an 80' by 120' indoor arena with peastone and rubber footing, 15 stall barn with two tack rooms, wash rack with heated water, swimming pool, 2.5 acre pond, 20 large pastures used for rotational grazing, cross country jumps scattered throughout the fields and trails, get-away cabin with full bath and kitchen, sleeps 10.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Fairview Farm and Guest Ranch also offers Bits and Bridles Girl's English Riding Camp. This overnight camp features an emphasis on English riding. All ability levels are accepted, and instruction is adapted to each individual rider. Equine Adventure Camp Level 1
This week long day camp is a “stand out!” It is theme based, and full of surprises! From “Survivor” to Renaissance” to the “Olympics” to “Down Under Horse Camp”, the campers never know what their counselors have in store for them. Campers enjoy horseback riding lessons, crafts, swimming, games, trail rides and team challenges each day. Instruction is geared to meet the needs of beginner riders. Skills are taught in both disciplines of western and English riding. In addition to fun on horseback, Wednesday night offers an overnight camp out for all campers. The night is packed with special activities which are always a well -kept secret, but always fun and exciting. On Friday, the last day of camp, friends and families are invited to see the campers perform their skills in a horse show.

This day camp offers the same excitement as our Level 1 Camp, however, Level 2 camp is geared to riders of intermediate ability. As with our Level 1 camp, this camp includes many other activities such as swimming, crafts, games, trail rides and daily challenges. The famous overnight camp out on Wednesday is also included in this camp. It is a complete package of fun and learning in an energetic environment!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Located just outside of Philadelphia, West Chester University provides a convenient, top-notch location for camp this summer. Overnight campers reside in the campus dormitories where staff and resident advisors supervise campers overnight. Campers have several options for training, including the track at John A. Farrell Stadium, the wooded trails of the Gordon Natural Preserve, and the rural roads of WCU’s South Campus. In addition to running, camp focuses on supplementary exercises to keep distance runners strong, flexible, and healthy. There is a morning and evening work out that are both 2-2.5 hours. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The camp has been running for 35 years as Holly Shores Field Hockey Academy. The camp has new owners who are extremely excited to bring you the best of both field hockey and sports performance training. We are the only Field Hockey camp to offer top notch sports specific training to create more dynamic and xplosive athletes. Our field hockey portion of the camp is run by Lauren Pfeiffer, US National Team Member and incorporates the most current techniques in the sport.

Each athlete will learn injury prevention techniques and strategies to utilize during the season. We will have Dr. Cohen, podiatrist for many professional Philadelphia sports teams, on hand to assist with lower extremity injury prevention. CAMP FACILITIES: Swope Music Building houses state-of-the-art rehearsal and performance spaces, classrooms, practice rooms, and faculty studios. Students are housed in an on-campus residence hall, adjacent to the dining hall.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The West Chester University High School Summer Music Institute offers resident and commuter options for students currently in grades 9 through 12. Students have the opportunity to perform in a variety of large and small ensembles including wind ensemble, string orchestra, choir, flute ensemble, clarinet ensemble, saxophone ensemble, double reed ensemble, brass ensemble, percussion ensemble, and vocal ensemble. All ensembles perform at the end of the Institute, and all concerts are open to family and friends. Auditions for a solo recital are held at the beginning of the week.

The Institute’s faculty consists primarily of West Chester University professors, all of whom are active performing artists in the Philadelphia region. Each student receives two 30-minute private lessons and one studio masterclass on their primary instrument or voice. Students will also participate in music theory/ear training, college prep, and audition prep classes.

Recreational activities include volleyball, a pizza party, and other organized evening activities.

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Sequoia is very fortunate to call The Perkiomen School campus our summer home. Pennsburg is a suburban area approximately a one hour drive northwest of Philadelphia in Montgomery County. The proximity of many educational and recreational activities to Pennsburg make our weekly out of camp trips very convenient.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Perkiomen School offers a wide array of playing fields and outdoor athletic facilities such as tennis and basketball courts. An indoor, competition size swimming pool, multiple gyms and top notch art facilities are just a few of the indoor highlights. When it's time for bed, campers will enjoy the comfort of their bedrooms which feature closets, dressers and desks. Bad weather is no problem at Camp Sequoia thanks to our amazing facilities. CAMP FACILITIES: Mt. Gilead has 16 buildings available for overnight lodging. Ranging from full sized lodges to small 8 person cabins, options are available for any sized group. Whether it’s a family ski weekend at Camelback Ski Mountain, group retreat or a staff getaway; we keep our rental prices affordable so everyone can afford a visit to the Poconos.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Mt. Gilead offers an atmosphere of relaxed fun and fellowship and the opportunity to experience God right in the middle of his creation without the distractions of technology and everyday life.

Campers are grouped in divisions according to their completed grade. Girls spend time interacting with their cabin group, divisional group, and the entire camp population at different times throughout the week.
Adventurers are completing grades 2 through 4.

Searchers are completing grades 5 and 6.

Observers are completing grades 7 and 8

Conquerors have completed grades 9 through 11.

A week at Mt. Gilead starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday, for campers staying more than 1 week, we offer the option of a stay over program. This program allows campers to stay at camp over the weekend where they will be cared for by our weekend staff. Parents are welcome to visit during this time and can take their camper out of camp for several hours (to eat, do laundry, etc.).

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Young ladies in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade are eligible to enroll in CILT I. During the school year, CILTs are working on requirements, reading books, developing a resource file, and preparing for the busy summer ahead. Once CILTs arrive at camp, they will prepare to embark on a trip that will change their lives forever. CILTs, their instructor, and other qualified personnel will leave for a week long outdoor living experience, typically backpacking and/or canoeing.

CILTs will experience first hand God’s awesome creation and learn important lessons in teamwork and communication. Once the CILTs return to camp their second week of training consists of working with a cabin, leading activities, songfests, service hours, Bible study and CILT class.

CILT II
There is no break! (Who wants one anyway?!) The CILTs are anxious to continue their training and get started on their second year requirements.

CILT II begins as soon as CILT I ends. CILTs are given their second year books to read, their extensive list of requirements, and with their new network of fellow CILTs, instructor and their mentor, they are ready to begin. One of the most unique features of our CILT II program is the use of a mentor. Each CILT chooses a mentor. Someone who will pray with them, guide, encourage, challenge and keep the CILT accountable throughout the year. The mentor and CILT will share thoughts and ideas on Bible Study methods by Rick Warren. Then the summer begins with three weeks of training.

CILT II participants are required to attend our staff training week, otherwise known as Pre-Camp. During this week, CILTs will have the opportunity to see the workings behind camp, as friendships develop, activities are planned, staff is trained and duties are assigned. They will also have the opportunity to earn certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, and AED. The second week of CILT is filled with training in their areas of specialty, Bible study, CILT classes, and camp service hours. Finally, the third week of training arrives when CILTs get to put all their knowledge into practice when they live-in with a cabin for a full week under the supervision of another counselor. Upon successful completion of all the requirements CILTs will have a graduation ceremony and are welcomed onto our staff!

CAMP FACILITIES: Students stay in university residence halls in all of our domestic programs and in hotels in Paris and Mallorca.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Summer Study Programs has been running pre-college programs for 25 years. Each of our programs allows students to be in class for approximately 3 hours a day, while participating in daily afternoon, evening, and weekend activities/excursions.
