SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: Camp Wego is a Travel camp serving teens and adult with special needs ages 14-65. We are a small travel special needs camp that travel in the United States and abroad. We are able to provide low staffing ratios, 1 to 4. (1:1 if needed) We have highly credentialed and experienced staff so each individuals needs are met. We add new and innovative travel and activities each year.
Our travel is designed to enhance social, friendship, culture, and other vital life skills that promote independence. Camp Wego helps travelers make new friends while traveling in a safe, fun and educational environment.
We offer high-quality supervised tours for teens and adults with special needs year around. Our travel programs are specialized for individuals with Developmental Disabilities, Autism, Learning Disabilities, ADHD and Asperger's syndrome.
Individuals must be ambulatory and be able to take care of personal hygiene needs.

Each summer over 4200 kids choose to spend a session or more at Incomparable Camp Ozark, exploring over 400 acres of beautiful, forested terrain, participating in more than 120 activities, during our 11 week camping season.
Our mission, our philosophy, our core values and our efforts all focus on investing fully in each individual child and family as if they were the only "1" at Camp Ozark. Why?...because although deep down we "might" admit that the one, two or three weeks that kids spend at Camp Ozark may not be "the most important" time of their life, to us it is.

CAMP FACILITIES: Capable of sleeping 200 people, we have 9 individual cabins (all with air-conditioning). We also have a large dining hall, covered basketball court, sand volleyball court, stocked fishing pond and many more fun activities!
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: For over 50 years this campground has served both kids and adults from all walks of life. Thousands have enjoyed it's beauty and countless memories have been made here. Built in the 1960's by the Methodist Church, the camp was first known as Camp Kaetzell.
A couple decades later in 1987, the Woodmen of the World life insurance company purchased the property from the Methodist Church and changed it's name to the Woodmen Youth Camp (also known as the WOW Camp). For 30 years Woodmen maintained and operated the camp while serving young people from all over the state.
On June 1st 2017, the New family purchased the camp, beginning the camp's third generation.
It is now known as Timber Oaks Retreat.
Our mission is to serve others by providing a place where Christian learning, fellowship and worship is always welcome. It's through God's grace that we have been blessed with this property and this opportunity.
