Our staff includes Holy Cross head men's soccer coach Marco Koolman and assistants James Thorpe and Justin Kahle. We will be joined by top college and youth coaches in the area and some of our current players as well.

We have multiple programs available that are tailored to any players' needs.

These include:

Tots Program: Intro to soccer that allows the 5-7 year olds to experience the game in a playful and inviting way. Lots of games and creativity allow these young boys to explore the foundations of soccer.

Full Day Program: Is for players aged 8-19 to take advantage of intense training. This is a competitive environment where players are taught the skills to elevate their game.

Extended day program: This program takes those 8-19 beyond dinner and adds an additional session each day. Coaches will be able to coach you in game situations and guide you to make the best out of every situation on the field.

Overnight Camp: Offers the same as the extended stay but allows for overnight stay on campus and will have three meals provided to them daily

College Express Program: This program is designed for those in 9-12 grade who want additional assistance, feedback and information with regards to their college search. Test results, extensive evaluation and a DVD with game footage are all things they can use during their college search.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: YEA Camp is a unique and inspiring leadership summer camp for youth 12-17 who care about community service, activism and social justice. A week-long sleep-away program in a beautiful camp location, YEA is designed to be a fun and transformative experience that builds life-long friendships between youth with similar interests. Our program also provides a meaningful opportunity for campers to learn more about some of the issues facing our planet and to get inspired and empowered to take action on those issues.

Campers choose an issue of importance to them (for example, some have chosen climate change, racism, homophobia, homelessness, animal rights) and at YEA they build the knowledge, skills, confidence, and community to take action on that issue long after camp is over. Youth who have participated in our programs report that the camp was one of the most fun, rewarding and life-changing experiences they have had, and, with YEA's community support, have gone on to start school clubs, plan fundraisers for nonprofits, organize community clean-ups, and attend hearings to comment about important community issues.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Drama Camp is run and instructed by Amy Kimball, who has worked in the summer camp setting for 32 summers. She directed Summer Camp for 20 summers. Amy is an experienced Clown, Mime, Performer, Director, Certified Teacher and has had every role at camp from counselor to unit head to specialist to Director. Amy has her BA in Education and has directed over 15 theatrical productions over the years. She will be working with help from a talented staff of performers who have expertise in singing and acting. Amy's staff will go through a camp staff orientation to understand their roles and responsibilities as counselors.

Our philosophy is for campers to create, learn, enjoy and work together all in a positive setting. Drama camp is about process but at the end of the week, the campers will perform for their friends and families.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Manice Education Center is an opportunity for campers to explore the environment while growing as leaders. During their 1-3 week experience, students will go on a backpacking and/or canoeing trip focused on learning about ecosystems and themselves. CAMP FACILITIES: At 200 feet, the Oliver Hazard Perry is the first ocean-going full-rigged ship to be built in the U.S. in over 100 years. It is the largest civilian sail training vessel in America. She has berths for 49 people overnight, and with 17 crew, a low camper to crew ratio creates a safe and fun environment. The ship is equipped with a steel hull, 3 masts, with square sails on all three masts, 20 sails totaling 14,000 square feet, and 7 miles of rope and wire. The engines run on a bio-diesel blend, and the ship is equipped with a modern galley (on-board kitchen), central air, an on-deck science lab, a library and wheel-chair accessibility above and below decks.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: With 17 professional crew and a capacity for 30-34 campers, our program promotes a dynamic and safe learning environment with a 2:1 ratio of campers to instructors. Campers will feel the thrill of steering a 500-ton ship, and learn to work the yards and sails while exploring the beautiful coasts of New England. They will learn safety at sea and perform important safety drills while acquiring skills in navigation, seamanship, sail handling, knots, and the language of the boat. Campers will explore the underwater world through snorkeling. They will understand wind, waves, tides and the ecology of sandy and rocky seashores. Sunsets, sunrises and the night sky will serve as the backdrop for this incredible experience, in addition to marine phosphorescence, dolphins and whales. Teamwork is an integral part of success onboard the boat, and in addition to learning about themselves, and achieving things they never imagined, they will make friendships to last a lifetime.

Boys and Girls Ages 16-17

CAMP FACILITIES: All camp activities are held on the college campus. Accommodations are in the college dorms located within walking distance of the dining hall and athletic training facilities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Collegiate Soccer Academy (CSA) is designed for high school students who are interested in playing soccer at the collegiate level. CSA is uniquely designed to provide a fuller experience than the vast majority of summer soccer programs by providing both on and off the field training. Off the field training sessions include: SAT prep, Sports Yoga, ACL Prevention, NCAA compliance, Q&A with College Coaches, Q&A with College student-athletes, Speed & Agility, and Strength Training. CAMP FACILITIES: Lodging accommodations at Camp Timber Trails include rustic summer cabins sleeping 4-8; three private cabins with 1-2 bedrooms, bath, and kitchens; the Lodge sleeps 6 and has a meeting space for 60 and small commercial kitchen; the Welcome Center sleeps 2-6 and has meeting space for 25 and a kitchen. West Wind Dining Hall and kitchen can accommodate up to 500. The Barefoot Ballroom is uniquely fitted with a sprung wooden dance floor.

An outdoor amphitheater overlooking the pond has bench style seating for 200. The waterfront on 16-acre Ward's Pond includes swimming beach and docks for canoes, kayaks and row boats. The large activity field has plenty of space for softball, soccer, concerts, festivals and outdoor events.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Timber Trails is available for groups to rent for a single day, a week or a month. Our facilities allow groups the flexibility of creating their own unique camping program. Camp facilities are available from May through October for overnight groups with as few as 10 to as many as 250 participants. Non-residential day programs can accommodate groups larger than 250. Scheduling programs from November through April is also possible, however groups size is limited to 20 for overnight programs and 50 for day use.

The Windhover Center for the Performing Arts partners with Dušan Týnek Dance Theatre in July to offer a week-long intensive dance workshop. Sallee Slagle, director of the sumer program, was also a dancer with the Windhover Dance Company for many years, and a graduate of Boston Conservatory where she first met Ina Hahn, executive director.

Windhover was founded by Ina Hahn, who was a member of Doris Humphrey's and Charles Weidman's Dance Companies. Ms. Slagle is the Artistic Director of her own modern dance company, Forty Steps Dance and teaches ballet and modern at colleges and her own dance and fitness studio, Dance Dimensions in Nahant, MA. We partner with our families in ensuring that all food sent to Camp is ingredient-checked before being sent to the bunk. CAMP FACILITIES: The classrooms and laboratories have lab benches situated by the windows so that students can conduct experiments in optimal lighting, maple cabinets and black counter tops, and Smart Boards for interactive teaching. Students participating in the Boston Leadership Institute’s three-week programs develop high-level research skills and subject matter expertise that strengthens credentials valuable for college admissions, interviews, and essays. Our students have been accepted to top universities all across the country, including Yale, Dartmouth, Tufts, Columbia, Michigan, Boston University, Washington University St. Louis, Northwestern, Johns Hopkins, and Cornell.

Top students from 45 states and 31 foreign countries have enjoyed our hands-on research programs.

CAMP FACILITIES: The camp's 208 acres include a half-mile of shorefront on a lovely lake surrounded by wooded property where 50 permanent buildings are located. Shamlian Hall houses two dining rooms, a library, snack bar and offices.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Good News was founded in 1935 by W. Wyeth and his wife Grace Willard. A graduate of Brown University and Princeton Theological Seminary, Dr. Willard also received a Doctor of Law Degree from Northwestern University. Their children and grandchildren continue to lead the camp program.

Camp Good News is a non-denominational, independent non-profit Christian summer camp for boys and girls ages 6-15. Sponsored by the Society for Christian Activities and founded in 1935. Camp Good News endeavors to introduce young people to the critical role that Christian faith can play in their lives and in the larger world. Camp Good News is open to children and staff from all walks of life and from all around the world.

Every summer, hundreds of children come to Camp Good News for adventure, fun and a chance to explore the Bible and its relevance to our lives; all in a beautiful Cape Cod setting. Campers come from a wide range of backgrounds. Regardless of race, religion or nationality, all are welcome. For those who want a summer to remember filled with new adventures and friends, Camp Good News is the answer!

On-Site Activities:

Counselors are the heart of Camp Good News. Our hard-working staff is selected on the basis of their camp skills, love of people, and sense of responsibility.

The waterfront program is carefully supervised by Red Cross Water Safety Instructors. Registered nurses are on 24-hour duty at the camp. A pediatrician's office is adjacent to the campgrounds, and there are two excellent hospitals on-Cape.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Leadership Training Program (LT): is a tuition-less program for selected youth ages 16-17 who show leadership skills and who have some experience either at Camp Good News or other residential camp program. LT applicants must have strong recommendation, preferably from their previous camp counselors or camp directors and a willingness to learn new things.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Individually approved upon request for low-income or special needs cases.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Optional Trips
Optional trips are available to campers for an additional fee. On vehicles owned by the camp, the young people are taken to places of historic interest. After you register, you will receive more details and sign-up information by mail.

Optional Transportation
Camp Good News will provide transportation to and from the airport, South Station, and local bus stations for a small, additional fee. The camp staff will meet the arriving camper at the security checkpoint and ensure they board the correct departing plane/bus.

Optional Tutoring
For campers needing extra help in schoolwork, skilled tutors are available to review or make up courses. English lessons are available for our international campers.

Visiting Days
First Sundays of every session families are welcomed to visit from 10:30 – 5:00.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Emerson is a premiere, overnight summer camp for girls & boys age 7-15. Campers design their own programs from 50+ activities including: athletics, visual arts, performing arts, watersports, swimming in a heated pool, wilderness and our Step Beyond Program - cooking, science, movie making, rocketry, CO2 race cars, engineering and More! We are known for our exceptional staff who give personal attention to each child. Emerson campers are creative, intelligent and kind. Located on 170 acres in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts. 3 hours from Boston/NYC. Family owned since 1968. 2, 4 or 6 week options. Parents, you are welcome to attend either the Kids Training Camp or the Future Champions Camp with your son. This is a unique opportunity to learn and bond together in a world class wrestling environment that also stresses fun, fitness, and fundamentals. We encourage you to attend sessions, take notes, video tape the instructional presentations, and/or assist your son. We offer a variety of housing and meal options to meet the needs and budget of your family. We look forward to providing you and your child with a memorable learning experience.

CAMP FACILITIES: KSA's gorgeous property features a 200 acre lake, a 15,000 square foot main lodge, 20,000 square foot field house, new bunks and brand new courts and fields. Kutsher's has 9 outdoor tennis courts on site, along with 4 outdoor and two indoor basketball courts. We also have 3 baseball fields, a soccer field, lacrosse field, golf range, beach volleyball court, hockey rink and full service fitness center.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Founded in Monticello, New York in 1968 by Milton Kutsher and legendary college basketball coach Clair Bee, Kutsher's Sports Academy was the first camp to offer an entirely elective sports program. KSA is ACA accredited and has been in the CampRatingz top ten camps in the nation for two years running. The pride and joy of Kutsher's Sports Academy, and what sets it apart from any other camp, is its coaching staff. KSA has professional coaches in every sport area that they offer, and all bring qualifications that make them the top coaches in their respective areas. Our entirely elective program ensures that each camper is happy with all of their activities, and that every one at a sport area wants to participate and have fun together!

CAMP FACILITIES: The location is one of the most recognizable and famous features of Tabor. Our facilities include dormitories, such as Lillard Hall, the Johnson Dining Room, the Fireman Performing Arts Center, Hoyt Hall, the Marine Science Center, the Academic Center, the Math and Science Center, the Fish Center for Athletics, a full service Health Center, the Hoyt Fields, the Hutchinson tennis courts and much more.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Tabor Academy Summer Program Counselor-In-Training Program is looking for responsible past campers interested in gaining leadership experience through classroom work and hands-on experiences in addition to activity based knowledge. All skills learned during the summer(s) as a CIT will be applicable not only if the participant becomes a counselor at the Summer Program but also in any future endeavors where working with others is crucial.Counselors-in-Training must be able to reflect on their experiences throughout the summer and be willing to push themselves out of their comfort zone.
